Meet Dani

Daniela “Dani” Hernandez has lived in Houston’s East End all her life, growing up in the Houston Independent School District (HISD) and returning to become a district teacher and administrator.

 

A daughter of immigrants, Dani was the first high school and college graduate in her family. After getting her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Boston University, she returned to be a bilingual teacher in the same elementary school she attended as a child. She went on to earn a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and worked in the HISD for another six years before entering real estate. For her, this was a continuation of being a community advocate who works to close socioeconomic gaps and present new opportunities.

 

Dani believes everyone deserves the chance to purchase a home and build wealth for their future. Her professional experience, and fluency in Spanish and English, enable her to guide buyers and sellers through the process while educating and informing them throughout. Many of Dani’s clients are first-time buyers and educators. As a Master Certified Negotiations Expert, she’s able to effectively represent them every step of the way to help them find the home that most perfectly fits their needs.

 

Dani remains passionate about education and continues to advocate for students and teachers as a locally elected official for the HISD school board in the East End area. On her own time, she enjoys bike riding, practicing yoga, and traveling, and she is a confirmed dog lover.
